Countries get very tense when it comes to Olympics
Swimming, diving, and water polo
Players come out soaking wet
Long jump, gymnastics, track and feild
Stretch your muscles
Put them to the test
Archery and shooting
Accuracy is the key
Judo and wrestling
Better come well prepared!!
Because it is now time for the Beijing Olynmpics!
Let the games begin!

Did you watch the 400 meter relay? It was amazing!!!!!!

Butterflies flutter by
They’re cool colours
They move from flower to flower
To pollinate nectar

It is the Fourth of July
And there are fireworks in the sky
Everybody crowds in D.C.
Because there are fireworks to see
Up the rockets go and…
BOOM
They blast to pieces of colour and light
Wow!
What a sight!

Two out of three of our fourth grade Gifted and Talented classes went on a field trip to the Chesapeake Bay to sail. Once we came to Baltimore City, facing Hard Rock Cafe, and getting off those cool and comfy buses with a bathroom. Fifty kids on one bus… wow! It is just awesome how only the GT classes can go on this trip. So, we went over all the safety rules and finally, finally got to go on the boat (25 kids on this boat)- the Sigsbee! We sailed and i got to steer with my friend. Then we went fishing with a net. One of the guys on the boat freaked us out by saying that it was against the law, which it really wasn’t unless it was commercial fishing. Next up was lunch. We ate lunch and then we went to our groups. The groups: Skadoosh, Jaguar-Sharks, Bodacious Blue Crabs, and my group:Wasabi. We opened oysters, played games, threw the fish back into the ocean got to pick up crabs, and by the time we finished all of that,we had to get off the boat and get on the fancy bus and go to school.

Silly clowns climbing poles
Performing many antics
Falling headfirst into holes
Swinging ’round
Upside down on shaky, shaky sticks
Tightrope walkers walking ‘cross the string
You might never know
What they bring
To the show: chairs, bears, small shoes, big shoes, even an umbrella!
Watch the trapeze
Fly so high
Should you let go? NO, NO, NO
Or you’ll fall DOWN, DOWN, DOWN
Onto the guy with the coat and tie!
Tigers are here
Not too near
Otherwise they’ll eat me!
Little dogs
Running around
Showing what they know
Down, Down, Down they slide
To the ground below
The circus is the only place
To find all these things.
Going to the circus is wonderful
Hope you come again!

Marching snowmen in the snow
Leaving footprints everywhere
Footprints denting the smooth snow
The sun comes out and melt the snowmen
Children come out to play
Wondering where the snowmen go!

It is the day of fun,
When you play all day,
Stop working and relax,
You have accomplished something new!
You are one year older!

Warm weather
Flowers in bloom
Filling the air
With welcoming scents and colors
One single flower
Soft and big
With white and magenta
Standing out
With all the other flowers
With a great and colorful hue

The foggy mist falling on your face,
is cool and refreshing,
on a hot and sunny day.
Standing in a shower,
feeling great bliss,
whether in Ontario or New York,
it is a great view.
See the foggy rainbow,
in the light of the sun,
my advice?
just don’t fall in!
______________________________
In Ontario or New York just get your tickets and you are ready to roll! just don’t use it in both places.
First stop: Cave of the Winds: Ever wanted to touch the waterfalls? Now is your chance for the waterfalls to touch you!
Next stop: Maid of the Mist: Board a boat then sail of on a boat then sail of through the mist and back. Great views of Niagra Falls.
Next stop: Niagra Legends of Adventure Movie: Tells all about the history of Niagra Falls. It almost makes you feel like you were really there.
Last stop: Three Sister Islands and more: no tickets for this activity! Explore these islands and dip your feet in the water. I saw a mother duck and three baby ducklings but never got a shot of it.
Don’t Forget Your Camera!!!!
