Cheesetopia!

My friends and I had to make a planet for science and I was the scientist to name the planet and I named it Cheesetopia. This poem is about Cheesetopia.

On  the planet Cheestopia, everything is made of cheese. Hot! Hot! Hot! The season of hot! Will always be Fondue! Oh no! The planet has turned orange! When the planet reaches Nacho Season, the planet turns a sunny color. A snowy color in the freezing season which is Bleu Season. String season is next. Everything is sparkly clean during String Season. Cheesetopia has 100 days in each season! 400 days in all. One day is 30 Earth hours. The sky is crying drops of apple juice. And is throwing snow flakes down for the Cheestopia inhabitants to flick with their tongues. The oh so plain traditional home protects Bleumans with a hay cover and strong cheese walls. Rich! Rich! Rich! The people who are rich get to have a three level home that looks like a dome with bites taken out of it. A block of cheese is what Cheesetopia is shaped like! Yum!!!!!!

Quesadillas with Broccoli and Bell Peppers

img_13051

My dad, my sister and I had just come back from drawing classes and my mom wasn’t home because she was on a volunteer course for teaching others that don’t know English to learn English. So, I thought we could make some easy quesadillas… with a special twist…

Materials:

  • Medium – Large whole wheat tortillas
  • Shredded cheese – your favorite type
  • Brocolli
  • Bell pepper (red, yellow or green)

Directions:

  1. Boil the broccoli and bell pepper or toast them in a toaster oven without turning them brown
  2. Put a flat pan onto the stove and light the stove to medium temperature
  3. Put the tortilla on the pan
  4. Sprinkle some cheese and put the bell pepper and broccoli on the tortilla
  5. Fold the tortilla in half on the pan
  6. Flip the tortilla over once or twice
  7. Take the finished quesadilla and serve with a side of salad if wanted
